Individuals enter The Heritage in independent living, but over time, should they require a higher level of care, such as assisted living or skilled nursing, these services are included without an increase in their monthly fee. Under life care, if an individual outlives his/her financial resources, they can continue to live at The Heritage, with no change in the quality of service or care received. This is the security that comes with choosing a life care retirement community.

Additionally, residents are able to claim a portion of their entrance fee and monthly fees as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
